When people read my stories, they might not realize that most of the time I’m thinking of specific Bible verses — sometimes as reference, sometimes as inspiration. This story is a perfect example. It may look like one of the most “frivolous” pieces in this section, but is it truly frivolous when so many verses stand behind every moment?
See for yourself…

Rosie’s Bubble Wand of Love
Rosie, the youngest of my little angels, carried a “Bubble Wand of Wuv.” No one knew how she got it. No one knew why, but that little wand packed a holy punch — the kind that made sorrow blink and laughter bloom.
Psalm 127:3 — “Children are a heritage from the Lord.”
Psalm 30:11 — “You turned my mourning into dancing.”
It was not magic, but something closer to a miracle — the kind that reaches through the walls of sadness and rescues joy. Psalm 16:11 — “In Your presence is fullness of joy.”
She was just the baby.
So how could this be?
It’s the nature of Love, I should think.
Let us see.
Matthew 11:25 — “You have hidden these things from the wise and revealed them to little children.”
Gracie and Luna, Rosie’s older sisters, distinctly decided upon a deeply desired decision, that they should know for sure what they surely would.
Matthew 7:7 — “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find.”
Jeremiah 33:3 — “Call unto me… and I will shew thee great and mighty things.”
Namely that they would uncover the mystery of the hidden secret. Sh! So they followed their little sister as she toddled about the heavens in a luminous rosy glow. Proverbs 2:3–5 — “If thou seekest her as silver… then shalt thou understand.”
“I used to do that!” said Luna. Psalms 68:3 — “But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.”
“Of course you did,” whispered Gracie. “And usually blue...or pink...or then there was violet, lavender, periwinkle… oh never mind… just watch and sh!” 2 Samuel 6:14 — “David danced before the LORD with all his might.”
Her sisters watched as Rosie teased the heavenly bees who have no stings, only kisses and puffy cheeks.
“Achoo!” said Rosie, and the bees did twice the flowering and three times the honeying.
She then ran into the clouds of nine, not just once, but all the time.
Ecclesiastes 3:4 — “A time to dance.”
Psalm 104:3 — “Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind.
Bouncing and frolicking, floating and bubbling, round and about and around and down and... oh goodness, Rosie! “I’m in a tizzy — getting dizzy!” Isaiah 35:1–2 — “The desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.”
She waved her hands and pinked them all… until she pinked a wall and got it all!
Gracie and Luna snickered and snickered as the nanny angels depinked their littlest sister, who would hold no still all the while.
Upon hearing the heavenly choir a‑singing, “All Things Bright and Beautiful,” Rosie joined in as best she could, “and made their tiny wings,” until she tumbled into the instruments — face, tiny wings, halo, celestial robes, and all. Oh my, what a clamor and a commotion!
Genesis 1:31 — “God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good.”
Psalm 19:1 — “The heavens declare the glory of God…”
But somehow after it all, and through it all, Rosie put on her smiles and straightened her halo, and don’t you know? Matthew 18:3 — “Except ye… become as little children…”
“Rosies are like that, I’d supposed,” announced the only Luna present.
And goodness gracious, Gracie agreed, “Shush and be quiet, whisper and always! For we must follow Rosie while she is not looking this-a-ways.”
If Rosie had known her sisters were about, she might have told them the “secret” they so dearly desired. But while they were surreptitiously watching, Rosie was auspiciously toddling — first this way, then around again. For joy did pull her this-a-way, and that-a-way, and every which-a-way besides. Proverbs 20:11 — “Even a child is known by their actions.”
But Gracie insisted older sisters must keep a watchful eye on the littlest, and Luna… well, Luna was imagining lots of bunnies — pastel ones with wiggly noses and poofy white tails. Philippians 4:8 — “Whatever is lovely… think about such things.”
But that’s Luna for you. We’d better continue with the story before the bunnies have friends over for tea and cupcakes.
And then the moment came when Rosie’s wand did produce.
She waved it about — wriggling and twirling and dancing and hopping — until she filled the atmosphere with so many bubbles that…
Psalm 118:24 — “This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”

Rosie’s Too Many Bubbles
Luna blinked: “Dear sister, where’d she go?”
Gracie, her eyes a-rolling: “Through the laughter and under the giggles, between the harps and under the pews, she’ll spring up like a flower within the hour.” Psalm 92:12 — “The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree…”
And so she did! Rosie flew through the air like an eruption from a happy volcano of bubbles, circling over the playgrounds of the Lord to the delight of all God’s children. Chance of bubbles: one hundred and twenty percent. John 4:14 — “A well of water springing up into everlasting life.”

Rosie’s Bubble Flight
And so finally that little cherub Rosie ran out of bubbles. She shook her wand with insistence, and splat — right in her face — came the last‑one bubble. Clapping and shrugging, she headed off with her wand to fill with miracle.
And so Rosie sang… Psalm 8:2 — “From the lips of children You have ordained praise.”
Jesus wuvs me this I knows,
because He tell me sos.
Little ones like me belongs,
because I am little but He is strongs.
1 John 4:19 — “We love because He first loved us.”
She passed the Warehouse of Mercies, the Warehouse of Virtues, and kept walking — all the way to the last one, the Warehouse of Treasures. Sneaking without a snickering followed Gracie and Luna.
Matthew 6:20 — “Lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven…”
Psalm 104:24 — “O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.”
James 1:17 — “Every good and perfect gift is from above.”
Deuteronomy 28:12 — “The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure…”
Psalm 31:19 — “Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them…”
As Rosie inside did go, the whole warehouse lit up in a radiant glow. She had no idea that this conspicuous light was sustained by her innocence, and the rose‑color was her charm. Psalm 34:5 — “Those who look to Him are radiant.”
Inside, it wasn’t gold or silver, not diamonds or rubies, not even hugs or snuggles.
It was bottles.
Bottles full of the tears of the saints.
Psalm 56:8 — “You have collected all my tears in Your bottle.”
Some small. Some large. Some dusty. Some elegant. And all with labels. 1 Samuel 16:7 — “Man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.”

God's Treasures
Bottles of Tears
Little Gracie and Luna tiptoed in as quiet as the falling petals of a flower. Seeing all the bottles and labels, Luna asked softly, "What do they say?" Matthew 18:10 — “Their angels always behold the face of My Father.”
Gracie, the only one who could read, whispered the labels:
“Tears of Hannah. Tears of Mary.”
1 Samuel 1:10; John 20:11-16
“Mary Christmas!” said Luna. Proverbs 17:22 — “A cheerful heart is good medicine.”
“Shh,” said Gracie.
By now Rosie was all the way in the back and still singing…
Yes, Jesus hugs me,
yes, Jesus lugs me,
yes Jesus wuvs me,
because He tell me sos!
Isaiah 46:4 — “I will carry you.”
Zephaniah 3:17 — “He will rejoice over thee with singing.”
Seeing a particularly interesting bottle, Gracie picked it up and read: “Tears of… Mar— someone scribbled it out.” 1 Corinthians 13:12 — “Now we see through a glass dimly…”
Luna declared, “I fix it!”
And she shone her heavenly moonbeam, not realizing she was helping to restore all things — Providence missing no detail.
Philippians 4:13 — “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”
Ecclesiastes 9:10 — “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might.”
Romans 8:28 — “All things work together for good…”
The bottle glowed softly in Gracie’s hands, and as the true name appeared, she whispered, “Tears of Naomi.”
Ruth 1:20–21
Psalm 147:3 — “He healeth the broken in heart…”
“Who is Naomi?” asked Luna.
Gracie shrugged, “I dunno… must be really special.”
Then they saw them — two enormous bottles, towering over most the others.
Gracie read aloud:
“Tears of Job.” “Tears of Jeremiah.” Job 16:20; Jeremiah 9:1
The girls were quiet. Impressed. Awed.
But Rosie kept going. She climbed the largest bottle in the back — so big it nearly touched the rafters.
Psalm 61:2 — “Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.”
Psalm 91:11 — “He will command His angels concerning you.”
Amos 9:6 — “It is he that buildeth his stories in the heaven…”
She’d worn herself out flying, yet the determined little angel still fluttered her way all the way to the top. Isaiah 40:31 — “They shall mount up with wings as eagles.”
She refilled her Bubble Wand of Wuv, so determined, humming to herself, so joyful. Nehemiah 8:10 — “The joy of the Lord is your strength.”
Then she came down, smiling, and left, little knowing her sisters were keeping out of sight. As Rosie left, they rushed over to the big bottle. Psalm 145:4 — “One generation shall praise Your works to another.”
Luna whispered, “What does the label say?”
Unable to see the label clearly, Luna shone a gentle moonbeam over the bottle, restoring the faded words forever into clarity.
Proverbs 25:2 — “It is the glory of God to conceal a thing…”
Daniel 2:22 — “He revealeth the deep and secret things…”
Gracie then read: “Pawpaw’s Tears.” Psalm 126:5 — “Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy.”

Pawpaw’s Tears
Little Rosie, full of wonder and innocence, knew nothing of sorrow, but was drawn to her Pawpaw's Love. Love that Providence turned from grief into the pinnacle of His cherished treasures.
Jeremiah 31:3 — “Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.”
Isaiah 61:3 — “give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;”
And in that moment, they understood with their hearts that love is drawn from sorrow. That joy is born from tears. That Rosie’s wand was filled with the ache of heaven and the laughter of healing.
2 Corinthians 1:4 — “He comforts us… so we can comfort others.”
Psalm 34:18 — “The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart.”
That Pawpaw’s sorrow had blossomed into promise revealed, and his tears had become treasure. Psalm 56:8 — “You have collected all my tears in Your bottle.”
And so it was.
Ecclesiastes 3:15 — “That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.”
