Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above

Welcome

Storybook tales for grown-up hearts, but safe for the whole family.

Whimsical stories for children. Deeper stories for grown-ups. And a little something for anyone who has ever loved someone enough to miss them.

Well, it seems you've stumbled your way onto a heavenly garden path where reflections of the Light of God's love are carefully sown, playfully nurtured, and lovingly gathered — a harvest of stories, lessons, laughter, and the enduring hope of faithful love for Jesus.

Jesus Walking
“Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn you.”

This is a place where you will find laughter that teaches, parables that play, and allegories that really should know better — but somehow keep getting their hands caught in the metaphorical cookie jar.

“Step into Pawpaw’s little world — where three small angels tumble through wiggles, light, and laughter, and every moment is stitched together with grace, hope, and love.”

Come on in.
Follow Pawpaw’s Little Angels — Gracie, Luna, and Rosie — through unexpected discoveries and whimsical adventures in Heaven and on Earth, bringing glimpses of God’s Light wherever they go.

Inspired by faith, hope, love, and of course imagination, these three little miracles weave tales of grace, joy, humor, and wonder — keeping hearts connected along the way.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ — “These are NOT just children's stories.”

I thought Pawpaw's Little Angels was going to be sweet little stories about cute angel children.
Well... they ARE sweet little stories about cute angel children.
But that's not all they are.

There is some serious stuff hiding underneath all that silliness.
Loneliness. Love. Grief. Faith. Doubt. Being forgotten. Being remembered by Heaven.
And then the laughter breaks through, healing what hurt — and Joy steps in behind it.

And cookies.
Lots and lots of cookies.

The funny part is that the silliness doesn't take away from the serious parts. Somehow it makes them easier to hear.

I'm old enough to have buried people I loved, and I found myself thinking about them while reading this. Then one of the girls would say something ridiculous and I'd laugh.

That’s a pretty good trick — one not many authors can manage with this much grace.

Well now, it wouldn’t surprise me if more stories came running around the corner any moment now — and possibly with a little too much enthusiasm.

Snide? Oh good grief. Now I'll have to disinfect the front page... where's that fly swatter?

Snide

Fair warning: These pages may contain traces of tiny fingerprints and footprints, cherubic nonsense, unreasonable amounts of glitter and giggles... and — is that bubblegum?

Pawpaw: “Oh, come on, girls. Can't we keep this in the kiddie section? And could someone please explain why there's a baby squirrel in the kitchen?

Baby Squirrel

Luna: “I found him! He needed foods and attentions!”

Rosie: “I make cookie!”

Aunt Bee: “Rosie…sweetheart… that is not cookie dough. Where did you even get that?”

So smile along with us and share, if you dare, their bright Stories of Sonshine and blessed Adventures, impatiently waiting to peek into your heart…
